So as to construct the dense atmosphere of Speaking English boldly, use English fluently, build a platform for students to train themselves and demonstrate their capabilities, at the end of May, 2017, Anqing Foreign Language School’s English Department of the east campus initiated the classical English Dubbing Competition in Grade 7. Each Class chose their excellent works through the preliminary contests. Candidates deduced a series of classical movies such as ‘A Cinderella Story’, ‘Big Figure, ‘Daredevil’, ‘Angry Bird’, ‘Alice in Fairyland’ by means of accurate language and luxuriant tone. Each candidate used their authentic actors’ tones, devotedly deduced the script. Besides, they made the judges forget that there were an actual scene in which students were dubbing the script. In fact, the judges thought that they were actually in the movie theater and listening to the actual, original sound. The judges felt that they were feeling the absolute charm of authentic spoken English.
